Season 2025-2026
DECODE is the 2025–2026 FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) game, where two alliances of two teams each use their robots to collect purple and green artifacts and place them in goals. Before each match, a central tower reveals a motif that defines a target pattern for the artifacts, and teams score points by arranging the artifacts to match that pattern. Matches include an autonomous period followed by a driver-controlled period, with robots moving around the field to complete tasks and return to base.
This year's robot was designed to have high artifact throughput, and is quick, efficient, and accurate at scoring. It features a dual motor shooter mounted on a custom belt-driven bearing stack turret. It also includes a Limelight 3A for automatic turret and shooter alignment
